Hormuz Minina, “Promontory XV”, 10/18/2025, Atlanta, GA, USA

Set in a secluded chasm along the Beltline’s Eastside Trail, Promontory XV is a public art performance by Hormuz Minina that examines the complex relationship between nature and urban growth. The event echoes Minina’s striking 2010 performance at the same site, where he spent the night painted gold and nestled among an oak tree’s roots, embodying ritual, resilience, and a commitment to creative humanism. The surviving oak tree, a living witness to these explorations, now inspires the next chapter of Minina’s artistic conversation. http://minina.org/

With Jasmine Habersham, Ipek Eginli, Roger Ruzow, Brijené Wilson, Stan Woodard.
Produced by Benita Carr
